The lawsuit we walked away from
We had a good case. We still said no.
We sat down with multiple intellectual-property attorneys. They all told us the same thing: you have a good case. Then they told us the rest of it.
$100,000 to $200,000. Up to two years. And even if we won every round — a real chance we’d never see a dollar of it back.
The people who took it had the money to keep it. We — the family that actually made it — couldn’t afford to fight for it. That was the lowest I’ve felt in this business.
So we made a different bet.
What we did instead
We couldn’t afford to outspend them in court. So we out-built them instead.
A copycat can screenshot a photo in a weekend. They can’t sit through a year of rebuilding a product with the women who actually wear it. That’s the one thing no one can steal.
So we tore our underwear all the way down and rebuilt it from the inside out. Dozens of surveys. Hundreds of messages. You gave us three orders:
